My nerf ps2 controller lights up and says its connected by both the controller and the wireless port stays red but doesnt seem to function when trying to play the ps2, the buttons show a response when pushed because the red light flashes on the controller but nothing seems to happen with the game, just wondering if it is a controller problem or a wireless port problem
Seriously 2 stars? I am giving you a tip. There is NO WAY to fix it but all I have to say is that Nerf is not a good thing to use for gaming.
Again buy a different brand that is more trustworthy.Seriously 2 stars? I am giving you a tip. There is NO WAY to fix it but all I have to say is that Nerf is not a good thing to use for gaming.

Most wireless controllers have a switch on both the sensor and controller which allows you to select a channel, useful for when you have more than one wireless controller. If yours has such a switch, make sure that both the controller switch and sensor switch are on the same number channel.
Red light means ur game pad's analog function is on. If it is off then the function will b digital. Remember each game adjusts analog/digital function itself automatically. Plz feel free 2 ask ny problems related PS2.
make sure youhave both the guitar and the wireless control plug is turned on. it the problem persists tryturing on your ps2 with it open then close it click browser and a cd with your memory card should show up click the cd and try detecting your guitar that way
I have one of these and what i usually have to do is plug the little part in which plugs in to the ps2 then let that load for a few seconds then try turning on the controller. Hope it helped =]
Okay, a coworker had this problem and it was a fairly easy fix, first, plug the USB reciever into a direct USB port, then pess the connect button on the underside of the mouse, when the red light starts blinking let go and then press it and hold, and at the SAME TIME press and hold the connect button on the receiver until both the receiver light and the mouse light turn on steadily, and voila!
Check the battery pack on the back of the controller. It's been known to not have good contact at times. I would also try changing the battery. Good luck. :)
