My MP3 player says I have 48.34 mb of free memory but it will not show the music that I have downloaded - it says I have no songs and I had over 100 songs downloaded. Model is YP-U2J. Please help - what is happening? I have already tried the reset button.

It seems that the songs you are downloading in your MP3 player are not compatible with your MP3 player.
check the compatibility in the manual of your MP3 player.
check the format of songs before downloading.

I have a thump 512. Want to add music to the 25-5 MB (on average) songs on it in MP3 format, but when i drag new songs to it, it says it has no space left. I deleted a couple of songs, but that didn't

That's because no offence but it has rubbish memory. 25mb is nothing these days. Most songs are 9-15mb themselves these days, and so no wonder you have no space left.

Plug it into your computer and open up widows media player. Click the synch tab and then you can look at the library in the player. It will also show you how much total memory and used memory.

Need help deleting songs from my Sony MP3 player

Try reflashing the firmware for your device you can find the latest firmware and flashing utilities from the manufacturer?s website. Make sure that you back your music up first because when you do this you are setting it back to factory settings.
