If your are running Windows XP you have have several options. USE OPTION 3 ONLY if you are comfortable working with system files and as a last resort.

  1. Open your "control panel" > "Display". This will open your "Display Properties" window. Click the screen saver tab and set your screen saver to "[None]" This setting will not put your monitor into any screen saver mode.
  2. Open your "control panel" > "add or remove programs" usually a downloaded screen saver will appear in this list, find the appropriate file/screen saver you wish to remove & click remove. If you wish to permanently remove the screen savers.
  3. I strongly suggest you do full back up of your system or at minimum create a "Restore Point" BEFORE you do any of the following suggestions!!! You could also search for the screen saver files. Click "Start" > "Search" This will open the "Search Results" Dialog window. look in your local hard drive where XP OS is installed. This usually is your c: drive. In the "All or part of the file name:" box enter "*.scr" this will give you a list of screen savers in your "C:\WINDOWS\system32" folder. Be VERY CAREFUL working in this file!!!! If you delete the wrong file your OS System may quit working properly or altogether! I am not sure if a downloaded screen saver has the file extension ".scr", I think they do. Maybe someone else could clarify that for both of us.
GOOD LUCK!!!

What do cats like

All cats like drinking water. Most do not like being in water or even having water on them. There are some notable exceptions. There are even breeds of cats that catch fish by diving underwater to grab the fist.

Happy Halloween

Halloween, celebrated each year on October 31, is a mix of ancient Celtic practices, Catholic and Roman religious rituals and European folk traditions that blended together over time to create the holiday we know today. Straddling the line between fall and winter, plenty and paucity and life and death, Halloween is a time of celebration and superstition. Halloween has long been thought of as a day when the dead can return to the earth, and ancient Celts would light bonfires and wear costumes to ward off these roaming ghosts. The Celtic holiday of Samhain, the Catholic Hallowmas period of All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day and the Roman festival of Feralia all influenced the modern holiday of Halloween. In the 19th century, Halloween began to lose its religious connotation, becoming a more secular community-based children's holiday. Although the superstitions and beliefs surrounding Halloween may have evolved over the years, as the days grow shorter and the nights get colder, people can still look forward to parades, costumes and sweet treats to usher in the winter season.<br /><br />The name "Halloween" is shortened from All Hallows' Eve as it is the eve of "All Hallows' Day", which is now known as All Saints' Day. Although All Saints's Day now occurs one day after Halloween, the Celts started every day at sunset of the night before. Hence Samhain became "the evening of All Hallows".<br /><br />Traditional activities for Halloween include costume parties, carving pumpkins to make Jack-o-lanterns (carved pumpkin lit by a candle inside), trick-or-treating, or reading scary stories. Irish immigrants carried versions of these tradition to North America in the nineteenth century.<br />Traditional characters of Halloween include ghosts, witches, vampires, bats, black cats, goblins, skeletons, pumpkin-man, scarecrow and fictional figures such as Dracula. Halloween gifts often include one of these characters for the festivities.<br /><br />The Halloween gift basket is a great gift for your favorite trick-or-treater. Most Halloween gift baskets have a Jack-O-Lantern pail since Jack-O-Lantern is the symbol of Halloween. One popular gift basket includes popcorn, candy corn (popular Halloween candy), other Halloween candies, a plush black cat dressed as a witch, a pumpkin carving kit for recipients to make Jack-O-Lantern, and a pumpkin flash light for safety during trick-or-treating. This gift is truly a must have for Halloween!<br /><br />At last let's sing the song of "This is halloween".<br /><br /><br /><a href="http://www.dvdrippermac.net/">DVD ripper for Mac</a>

System is running slow and freezes up for a little while. When no programs are running, and the screen saver starts, the fish can't even swim well(the screen saver freezes up for 2 to 4 seconds. Any...

This can be because of virus infection, there are so many applications on your start up and low virtual memory.
But my best suggestion is for you to run a virus scan on your computer so it can detect viruses, worms and malware that you get in surfing the internet or by just sharing files. If this will not work you need to re-install your OS so your computer would be like brand new.

I have two holes in the bottom of my pool how do I fix them

The easiest way to patch a hole in a vinyl pool liner is with the water still in the pool. With an inexpensive underwater repair kit, some swimming goggles and a few hours to allow the patch to cure, you will be back to enjoying your aquatic playground. jQuery('.intro .thumbnail').each(function(i,e){ jQuery(e).find('img').one('error',function(){ jQuery(e).remove(); }); }); Difficulty: Easy Instructions Things You'll Need:
  • Pool repair kit (underwater) Rag Scissors Swimsuit Swimming goggles
  1. Step 1 Locate the tear in the liner. You may need to get into the pool and examine the surface wearing swimming goggles.
  2. Step 2 Read the patching kit instructions thoroughly before starting the job.
  3. Step 3 Clean debris from the area around the tear using a rag.
  4. Step 4 Use scissors to cut a patch for the hole. Use the vinyl from the repair kit to for the patch. Be sure it is at least 2 inches in diameter and will cover the entire hole.
  5. Step 5 Use applicator brush that comes with kit to apply adhesive to the back of the vinyl patch. Do not apply too much adhesive or the patch will not cure properly.
  6. Step 6 Fold the patch in half. The adhesive should be on the inside of the fold.
  7. Step 7 Enter the pool2_bing.gif water and relocate the area in need of patching. If hole is accessible from the outside of the pool, there is no need to get into water.
  8. Step 8 Hold patch underwater as close to the hole as possible. Unfold patch while underwater and apply to the hole.
  9. Step 9 Press the patch firmly while smoothing it from the center to the outside edges. This will help remove any excess air bubbles or water from under the patch surface.
  10. Step 10 Let patch cure as indicated on repair kit instructions.

How do I take off screensavers? I have an underwater screen with swimming fish, bubbles, etc. Window;s Vista and behind the fish I have a Halloween screen with black cat, bats, etc. How do I get my screen...

Right click on your desktop (not on a file/folder) and select "personalize".

There will be 2 categories you should look at, "screen saver" and "desktop background". Change the settings to what you desire and you should be done.

Level 3 -a or one

Coin 1: After the checkpoint, there are pipes blowing bubbles upwards. The
second set of pipes is a red followed by two greens; enter the first
green pipe (the middle pipe of the set) and swim across the cavern to
get the coin.

Coin 2: About two thirds of the way through the level, the coin can be seen at
the top, between two bubble-blowing pipes. Swim up and get it, but
beware the purple fish that will swim after you.

Coin 3: About three quarters of the way through the level, there is a P switch.
Hit the switch and immediately swim right; the coin is easily grabbable
at this point.

Watch as your monitor fills with water and real 3D fish begin to swim around the screen you were just working on!
Features:

-Real time 3D fish that don't just swim back and forth, but towards you and away from you, up and down. Like real fish!
-Uses realistic 3D fish models, not just flat 2D images like other screen savers do!
-Dymanic underwater lighting. So if the surface of the water ripples, so does the refracted light!
-Download additional fish with ease! The registered version lets you download fish right into the screen saver from the --Settings screen on the Mac OS X version, and from the website for Windows. It couldn't be easier!
-You can select the background you want! From your wallpaper or a random image (jpg, png or gif files), as well as the option to capture the current screen.
-Select between warm and cold, salt water fish, and fresh water fish, or mix them all together! Remember virtual fish can all survive in the same virtual water!
-The fish's eyes move, so they now look around as they swim across your screen.
-Background Hum/Bubbling sound for that real aquarium atmosphere.
-Many options so you can customize it to your liking. With the full version, you can have as many as 40 fish swimming around at once, as long as your CPU can handle it!
