Use the Samsung Firmware Updater to fix it. Mine did what all of you are speaking about. I was ready to toss it then I tried the firmware updater on the CD and it fixed it. You must copy all the files from the \setup\Programs\ and \setup\Binary\ folders on the Samsung CD to a folder on your hard drive. Then connect the player via USB and run stupdaterapp.exe. It will search for the device and pop upartwifekids@hotmail.com - 1.gif a menu. Check the Format Data1.gif Are box and click start. It takes a few minutes and wipes the device clean but it fixed mine.

I am format player there after player not detect audio files

So you formated the player and now there are no songs? That would be because you formated it. Format means you erase all of the memory.

Samsung YP-T5 MP3 Player I/O error

I had the same problem and solved it with this: On the Samsung support page, there´s a knowledge base called "YP-T6 Or YP-MT6 Show No File And Zero Free Memory" you need to download the latest firmare from the downloads section, then with the uptader on the PC, remove the battery from the YP-T5 or 6 and connect the USB cable to a PC while pressing and holding the play button on the YP-T. It should connect in a recovery mode which allows you to update the firmware, format the flash drive and get going again !
