Grohe toilet air button flushers not working

I have a grohe toilet with the 2 air buttons; the flusher (a silver fixture w/ 2 different flush buttons inside) is not working. the buttons had been stuck all the way in. i took off the cover above and took the plastic cap off the back of that setting (it is one plastic cap w/ 2 small hoses at the top running off to the water basin). i got the button spring to start working again but now there is no water or water pressure so the toilet does not flush. the behind the toilet vantage point from above is pretty tight but i can see the top part of the fitting and get both hands inside to work on it. does someone have an easy explanation on how to fix?

I'm going to just take a wild guess here based on what you said. I have never worked on one of these so bare with me. Your description is good and I think you have some sort of an air lock. I really think that if you just keep fussing with it, it will start working. Check the water inlet as best you can and keep trying to flush and see what happens.

I have a toto toilet , model MS604114CEFG , bought 2 years ago . Last night , when I flushed it , the water level in the toilet bowl did not come down . It stay high in the bowl . In the tank reservoi

If the toilet is the only fixture in the bathroom group that is having an issue, then there is a partial blockage in Strap of toilet or in drain pipe close to toilet. If other fixtures are showing sluggish drainage, then the main drainage line is clogged. If all is fine with tub lav shower etc., pull toilet from floor and carefully turn upside down, and look to see if anything is visable. if so remove it and reinstall with new seal(wax ring). Also, look into pipe and see if any water is standing in it. If water is standing in pipe, the drain line is clogged and must be rodded(snaked) out to cure problem

Grohe dual fush push button

hey,
If you can get a new bellows this is possible.Repairing a bellows is also possible if you have the skills and tools to hot-air solder it.
Look at this guide that might help you. though it is not the exact model, principle is the same.

I have a Kohler 81100 pressure flusher that came with the house when I bought it. Can I remove the pressure system out of the toilet tank and replace it with a regular flushing system?

As a general rule, no However contact Kohler, they may give you a discount on a replacement toilet, as there have been some recall issues.

We bought the Jacuzzi Perfecta toilet 1 year ago

The complication here is that Jacuzzi does not make toilets anymore than Sears makes refrigerators. In Sear's case their Kenmore refrigerators are from Whirlpool with the Kenmore name.

It is my understanding that Eljer was the manufacturer of the toilets with the Jacuzzi name typically sold at box stores. With that as a starting point, surf the web for any Eljer toilet tank replacement parts and see if you can find a similiar flusher

Not flushing

take the lid off the tank and make sure that the chain is still conected from the flusher handle at the top of the tank to the plug at the bottom of the tank

Why does the water go over the top of the float

bend float down to adjust water level if water is covering float and still not stopping some flushers have an adjustment screw on top also turn slowly a 1/4 turn at a time if still doesnt stop lift float until stop bend rod to adjust if water doesnt stop from lift than diaphragm in flusher bad and have to change out again

Toilet keeps running even when manually lifting floater to max

check handle to ensure no tension is on the flapper chain when not being flushed. check flapper to ensure positive seal to flush valve. check water level to ensure not overflowing into flow valve. if that's the case, lower water height.

then if still doesn't work, change flapper,

all else fails, change flush valve.
good luck,
steve
