E3 -F1- this message just started showing up on the display of my Kenmore Ultra Bake Oven Md#66575842003

Hello there and thank you for choosing fixya
The E3-F1 ERROR CODE is a fault code that tells the consumer that the ovens main controle panel has a problem
This could simply be a wire that has came loose but a lot of the time the controle panel has failed and will need to be replaced
Here is what you can do
First disconnect the power Totally and slide the oven out and if you can remove the back of the unit and check to see if there are any wires that are loose or really greasy if so clean them and replace them also remove the panel at the top to expose the control board and do the same thing as in the previous step.
If you can find the wire harness look for the place where it attaches to the board and disconnect it then wait 30 seconds and reattach it.
after this has been completed leave the oven unplugged for at least 45 min total to allow for the internal reset feature to attempt to reset the memory feature on the oven then replace the back of the oven and any other parts that may have been removed
plug in the oven and press the cancel button if the error is still showing then yes the board is fried and a new one will have to be installed ok?
Hope this is very helpful for you
Best regards mike

My oven is showing a code E3 (in red) -F1- (in black). Everything works but the heat light will not stay on and it will not heat. It has a safty feature that when the electricity goes off you have to reset...

This indicates a failure in the temperature probe. This is easy to check and replace. Here is a link that will walk you thru checking and replacing an oven Temperature Sensor .If you need diagrams and illustrations of your specific model enter your model their. All parts come with installation instructions.
