My Sony Ericsson W395 asks for the Java Internet Settings when I try to access aplications. I am able to browse the internet with the phone though. Where do I find the Java settings as the service provider and Sony does not seem able to help!!

some of u guys are not able to use browser in mobile like opera since its displays like "contact ur operator for java internet settings"
Here is the simple solution for it.....
Go to menu->organiser->Applications Do not open opera untill said ok ....
after opening applications go to options->settings->connection->option->create new
Name-> ur Service provider name
Then go to options->edit->preferred connection->ps
proxy->use-> yes
Then enter ur service provider proxy address n port number.....
PS data->APN->enter ur access point name....
Save it....
now in accounts select the account the one which you created now........
Thats it.........
now you can use opera mini in ur mobile to browse internet.......

You would need to call your network provider for them to send out the internet setting to your handset.

i think the best way is we all users of w395 should throw our set in the face of SE and break their nose...i too cant get my java internet settings problem solved anywhere..

i got a problem for java setting in my sony ericsson w302 model. whenever i starts opera mini, ebuddy lite messenger..security alert showing the message'' please contact your operator for java internet settings'' appears. i am expecting solution for this.

Go to the internet and enter the link below for a good sony ericsson pc suite. Though the pc suite is for sony ericsson k750i, yet it works for other sony ericsson models. I used it and it was good.

if u reset your phone, it would reset all setting including Internet settings, so u have to subscribe for Internet again.

Java seting

i was unable to install themes in my sony w395 though i download the themes from sony ericsson site itself. in description they have given it supports themes but practically its not possible for me to install. tell me the way to solve it.
