DWL-2100 AP will not reset to factory defaults with reset push. Ideas?

I have a DWL-2100 AP. I cannot get it to reset to the factory defaults nor can I access the last know LAN IP settings. Is there a "secret code" of button push and disconnects that will really do a reset?
Thanks

I tried this. I've held reset for 15 sec, 30 sec, 60sec. No dice. Logging to the IP of 192.168.0.50 just won't work. Any other ideas?

If you look at the back of your access point you should see a reset button. Hold that in for about 30 seconds and then log back into it. The IP address should be 192.168.0.50 I hope this solves your problem

Reset, hold for 10/15 secs, do it again 3 times total. Then it works.

Hello when i turn on my access point d-link dwl 2100 ap i couldn't access to it by the ip i reset it several times but nothing changes even by the default ip of it 192.168.0.50 so plz help me

In order to get to the web server, you plug an ethernet cable between your computer and the AP. Then, did you miss the instructions that you have to be in the same subnet? Right click on your LAN card (Network) Properties TCP/IP Properties and set the address to something temporary like use 192.168.0.5 or anything but 1 or 50 and the subnet mask to 255.255.255.0

Now when you open up IE, just key in 192.168.0.50 and it will bring up the login box.

DWL-2700AP reset default settings

Remove 13 screws from the perimeter of the back side of the DWL-2700AP and pull the covers apart. On the inside along the bottom adjacent from where the network cable plugs in, you will find a reset button. It is next to the white plug that leads to the antenna. You will need a flat screwdriver or something thin and sturdy to wedge between the casing and the reset button. While the AP has power, press the button and hold it in for a few seconds then release. Give it a few minutes and the factory defaults should be restored. Default IP: 192.168.0.50, Default subnet mask: 255.255.255.0

Can't connect to configure password through web address 192.168.0.50

When you reset the AP, how long did you press the reset button? To reset the AP to factory defaults, the reset button should be pressed and held for at least 15 seconds. Also, once reset, the AP should have the following settings:

IP address: 192.168.0.50
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default admin username: admin
Default admin password: <blank>

When connecting your PC, either set an IP address within the same subnet (192.168.0.51 255.255.255.0) or choose "Obtain address automatically".

I hope this helps.
