if you have a protection light that is on it means the amp is in protection mode and wont allow any power to the sub this usually happens when the sub or wiring shorts out or if there is an internal failure in the amp or if its overheating. check the wires and connections and test your sub on another amp.

You either have an overloaded output or a shorted powersupply. If you have verified that your connections are not the cause then the problem is internal and will require service from a trained technician. Switching power supplies are notorious for going bad. Two of the main components are the FETs used for switching and the PWM generator.

double check your wires aren't shorting out or power or remote wires aren't grounding. check if speakers are blown with nine volt battery

disconect speaker wires from and amp and repower if light is still on disconnect RCA jacks and repower if protection is still on you have a solder jump inside your amp send it in for erepair to dealer or buy a new amp at dealer prices at www.godspeedaudioheaven.com

take the amp out and hookit up to the car battery and let it charge then unplug it do this a couple of times then rehook it to the cars audio system it sounds like your amp may be locked..

also check your speaker wires from amp to speaker box then from the back of the box to the speaker inside the box you may have a short..

Sounds like a protection problem. A relay may be stuck, or there really may be an internal problem you cannot see. Take it to a shop to have it bench tested independent of your vehicle.
