Error code F1 means that the control of washer has either gone bad or about to go bad. This is a common issue with Whirlpool Cabrio washers. I have also seen them replacing the control without any charge, don't really know about the labor charges but they usually won't charge for the part. I think there might be a recall on your washer call to see. I am not for sure that there is a recall but I a m pretty sure there is. So don't quote me on that. the f1 error code usually means that you have a bad board. f1 means that your pressure switch line is failing and this is all in your board. check your owners manual if whirlpool is not going to pay for this repair sometimes there are extended warranties in your manual
