Sounds like your PSU board is bad. you can replace the board itself or just the faulty components.If you are not inclined to this type of work I recommend calling a service tech.

just remember to unplug it because it will hurt if you zap yourself.

Picture won't come on

Most likely failed capacitors in the power supply. I am currently having the same problem with my 26 month old LN46A750. Samsung has agreed to fix this as an out of warranty "courtesy repair".
