I have a blackberry curve 8310 which ,from what I understand, is stuck in reboot mode. Red light comes on then hour glass spins , then black screen, repeats over and over. I have tried reloading with desktop manager, wiping with jl_cmdr, get error message unable to connect to device during multistage reload with desktop and just can't seem to get anything to work. Is there a fix for that or can I send it out somewhere to get fixed and if so how much would that cost for repair. Thanks for your time. Jim

Try to reset your blackberry password by entering wrong password 10 times, it will make your blackberry curve 8310 unlocked as well as your previous data will be erased. After your blackberry unlocked, you can setup new password for your phone.

Continous hour glass

This unfortunately happens from time to time when loading updated firmware or you dont have the updated firmware. Although the device won't properly boot you may be able to get Desktop Manager to recognise it - if so run the Application Loader and try reloading the software. Download the latest firmware from Blackberry website.
