Just a thought:

There may be a switch or button that turns the wireless network off.

Check your manual or you may see the keyboard icon with radio waves going up, press this key. Check connection now.

Does my hp pavilion p6733w desktop have wireless internet adaptor?

The HP Pavilion P6733w did not come with a wireless network adapter originally. It does have a wired 10/100 network LAN port. You could add a wireless network card to one of the PCIe slots. (There are 3 PCIe x1 slots and one PCIe x16 slot. Depending on the upgrades, you may have other cards in the system box.) See https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02628426 for the original specifications.

I hope this helps.

My hp pavilion tx1000 wirele is not working

Sounds like a pretty reaccurring problem with the series...here's a link to the HP website with people with the same problem:

You could always try reinstalling the driver to see if that cures it...here is a link to the wireless driver for the TX1000:

Pavilion TX1000 - WiFi card suddenly not detected

The solution is, get a USB wifi adapter, because that card is done. HP REFUSES to recognize this problem, and since the majority of failures happen after the warranty expires (mine did) HP just says you are SOL. You can get decent wireless adapters for $20, and your wireless problems will be solved. Unfortunately, expect your laptops motherboard/chipset/dc port to fail within a year :(

Bluetooth in HPTx1000

I believe there's a switch on the HP pavilion TX1000 to enable its Wireless LAN and Bluetooth.

To the right of the audio inputs and outputs is a slider switch and an LED. This one controls the wireless devices, both the Wireless LAN and Bluetooth and is blue while the wireless devices are enabled and red when they are not.

If you are using Windows Vista on your computer, you may go click on this link for instructions on how to use bluetooth with Vista.
