What year was my washer built. - Maytag Neptune FAV6800AW Top Load Washer

The Kenmore 110.42926 HE3 washing machine was built in 2005. This washer model was part of Kenmore's Elite line and it has a variety of features such as 5.0 cu. ft. capacity, front-loading, high-efficiency (HE) and a variety of cycle options.
It's worth mentioning that Kenmore is a brand owned by Sears, so the model number is not an indicator of the year of production, but the features can give you an idea of the era it was built.

Could also be crack/leak in HP pump. If it were left in cold weather without antifreeze, I'd check there first. Part + labor might warrant new washer if more than a couple years old.

I have found t vinegar has many uses. Mix the water with vinegar

replace pump or service valves or check inlet for obstruction

this is a whirlpool built washer sounds like a timer problem # 3953248 $109.00 i would reccomend replacing unit just becareful not all kenmore appliances are whirlpool made anymore.... so if you like your old washer and you decide to purchase kenmore brand ask salesman if its whirlpool built

Make sure your Drain Pipe is properly fixed . any Blockage in the Drain Pipe Creates the above mentioned Problem

We also have a Quiet series 100 and had the same problem, the dishes always came out dingy or with food all over them. My washer is about 5 years old and worked well for about 4 of them but the last year has been doing a poorer and poorer job washing the dishes. I finally broke down and removed the racks and all of the plastic parts from the inside of the washer. Doing this revealed that the groves in the under side of most of the plastic parts was clogged with food and debris. After a good scrubbing with water and a brush then reassembly it worked like a new washer again, cleaning the dishes very well and the best part is it saved us about $700.00 for another washer.

I called Maytag customer service about my dwu9200aae last week and with the serial number they were able to give me both a month and year made.

I suggest calling Maytag and have a tech come out to look at it. Appliances come with a one year parts and labor warranty.Use it before your one year is up.
