just need T2682 drivers burn to disk for future use also may not be availible later

Question does the case have windows XP Home license KEY if do can use any XP Home disk
or load any OS from cdrom drive by entering bios an set boot from cd

This system comes preinstalled with Windows XP and only XP drivers a re available for download. They are not guaranteed to work with Win 7 or Vista but may.

The Ethernet driver or LAN (realtec) driver can be downloaded by clicking here.

  1. Its a zip file, extract it in any folder.
  2. There are three files, one of which is .INF file.
  3. To install the LAN driver open Device Manager from Control Panel.
  4. Locate the ethernet controller.
  5. Right-click on it and select Upgrade Driver.
  6. Choose to install manually.
  7. Then select pick driver from computer.
  8. Browse to the folder and point the installation to the INF file. It will install it automatically.
You can also find other (audio, video etc) drivers on this website. Just select your desired computer from the list.

Hi,
Windows 7 driver are not available for your PC.
You can use XP driver in Windows 7 using Compatability Mode.

Step required..
1. Right click on driver installation file.
2. choose properties
3. choose compatability tab
4. select XP
5. press ok
6. Install the driver

Emachines t2682 upgraded from XP to Win 7. Windows 7 assigned generic drivers for graphics adapter and monitor. Now monitor only displays 640x480. 3D intel extreme graphics agp and emachines e17f2 monitor.
This is what you are looking for. You're going to want the VGA driver, second one in the list.

The sound on y t2682 emachine does not work, could youplease help me?
Step 1. Check to see if the sound volume is turned up. You can usually the icon in the lower right system tray of your screen. Also, check to see that your speakers are on and plugged into the computer.

Step 2. Obtain most recent sound driver for your machine and reload it. The newest driver can be downloaded at the computer manufacturerer Web site or perhaps came on a CD with the machine itself.

To reload your sound device, go to Control Panel and find the Device Manager. I don't know your OS setup so I can't give you exact instructions. Once you are in the Device Manager, click on the the Sound, Video and Game Controllers section. Click on the whatever sound device you have. Then click on the Driver tab till you see the option "Update Driver". Follow the instructions from there. The computer will probably ask you where the driver location so it can use it. Hope this helps.

My external cabinet fan is not working ;it revolves only in the starting after that it doesn't revolve i changed it's power supply wire also but no use  i think it is having problem with the conducting...

I need system setup disks for emachines T2682 desktop
unfortunately I have had more than one customer who has had to call up to 4 times to get someone who can help. If that is the first person you spoke with, call back and ask someone again, according to the specs this PC came with WinXP Home, which is not considered ancient yet, and I know They do have restore sets for this model.

Emachine T2682 boots then dies
Nope, if the fan on any of the equipment stops, then its a power problem. Hightly suspect the motherboard is at fault loading down the power supply and even possibly burning out the power supply. I've seen it happen to many times.

Restore disks
Alot of manufactures will include restore disks with the pc. However if you don't have them anymore you will need to order them from the manufacture either on-line or over the phone. Hope this helps.
