This was suggested to me by some TECHIE at BestBuy and it worked for me!!

I had the same problem. The techie suggested NOT USING THE Sandisk software at all! Just go to "My Computer" the player will appear as another storage device there (Even if the stupid software doesn't detect it as being attached!).

Simply drag your music or pictures to the 'storage device' which is your Sandisk player.

It is a very simple and quick fix.

I spent hours messing with it. I loaded my Sandisk in about 5 minutes after I was told this!

Good luck!

If you have more than one USB port try another port. If not try downloading Yahoo! Music Jukebox.

HOW CAN I SYNC MUSIC TO MY SANSA E250..?

To sync music you have to first open the Rhapsody music player (If you don't have Rhapsody you have to download it fom the Sansa disk or you cannot add music). From there you can drag the songs you want from your library onto the icon in the list on the left that says "Sansa e250". On that screen there is a bar at the bottom that tells you how much space is left on your Sansa.

Hope this helps!

Cant remove songs

try opening it up in rhapsody or windows media player and delete the songs through there.:

  1. open either rhap or wmp
  2. the devices should be in a tab to the left (rhap) or on the top (wmp)
    1. for wmp, it might be in a tab in a tab
  3. click on the music "+"
  4. and from there delete the music

Sansa e250

Do you know if windows media player recognized your device? if windows media player does, i would recommend you to format the device using windows media player...to format your device have it connected and open up WMP,click on the sync tab the your device will be listed on the left side..then all you have to do is right click and format the device..that should work..

Music Videos

I'm not an expert, but I do have a Sansa e250, too. Sounds like you need to download a Sansa Media Converter.

Here's the link: http://www.sandisk.com/driverdownload/download.asp?driverId=184

Once that is downloaded and installed, open it, plug your Sansa into the computer by USB cable, click "Add media". Then you should see a window that says "Add media" Select the media you want to put on your Sansa. Once the media is added, then click "Convert". After it is finished converting, it should be on your Sansa. Hope that helps!

WMP won't detect my MP3

See if this helps: -Close all programmes on your computer. -Turn off your Sansa e250. -Attach the cable into the USB port of your computer before attaching it into the actual e250. -The scroll wheel on the Sansa should have turned on by now. -Then it's just a matter of waiting for a few seconds. -Try opening Windows Media Player to see if it detects your device. Otherwise, be patient. Goodluck.
