Is this a 2 player game? If so, how to you get it in 2-player mode?

From the Disney/Pixar Toy Story Mania! opening screen, press the 1 button on Player 1 Wii remote to start.

At the "How many players?" (color palette) screen, point to the number of players (1 through 4) and press the A button.

Point to the desired color for each player and press the A button on the corresponding Wii remote. The player's number will be displayed in the color (for example: 1 in yellow, 2 in purple). Point to the green arrow and press the A button to advance.

At the name entry screen (Mr. Spell), starting with Player 1, point to the letters and press the A button to select. Once Player 1's name has been entered, point to "Enter" and press the A button to advance to the next player.

When all players' names have been entered, you may select from Story or Freeplay mode to begin playing. Freeplay mode will only contain games that were previously unlocked in Story mode. For more information on Disney/Pixar Toy Story Mania! game modes, see the game manual.

You have to make sure that you set your controller in the right mode either as player one or player two. It is possible that you have been making the mistake of not setting your controller as a player on either side and as a result, the game is detecting your controller as an inactive controller so it prepares a game between two sides of the CPU.
You can also make sure that your controller buttons(analog or digital) is working properly so it does not become a case of stuck controller buttons.
Another thing you might wan to watch out for is for the settings that are set to control the players to be in the right mode and selection that would suite your kind of play. For example, the game might have been set to move the players with the digital controls while you are trying to use the analog controls to move the player. This is because for almost all 2011 sport games that have been produced by EA have currently undergone controller review and changes.

i think u hav some problem with the setting mode..this happen to me som time and i will solve it by viewing this site...u can also try it

Many games require original PS2 dual-shock controller. Make sure that you have original controllers.

It's probably because you have two diferent brand remotes and the wii doesnt know which one your using

i have the same problem im on my second year after winning the finals against the lakers, i averaged over 50 pts a game, i chose to stay with my team, the nets, then when i try to play my first game of the season i cant, it freezes and makes a buzzing noise, i think you just have to restart on it, start a new game, and if your really desperate to keep your player, then make him on the normal gameplay mode, i did that, but ill warn you he isnt as good on that as he is in myplayer mode.

yes two players can play...depends what mode you are on.......you will only be able to add another player in games like skins etc...make sure you are not in career mode

did you try to switch the tv modes Ex. my tv has av 1 av 2 comp 1 comp 2 does it have those modes

Make sure all controllers are connected to the console. If that isn't the problem go to quickplay or start new game or something along those lines and when it comes up make sure there are two controllers on that game menu
