Onkyo - mainboard issue

Do you have sound still. Ifvso while the TV is on, shine a torch into the screen .
if you see a picture you possibly have a backlight issue
failing that tcon board but get it tested

Capacitors, transistors,and a couple resistors. Internal repair. A shop will charge anywhere from 100-200 depending on time and parts.

You can`t find anything at the msi support site.

Do you get any picture (blue screen of death) ???

Any beep sound ???

This fault could be: ram failure,harddrive,graphic card,cpu.

Or sinply mainboard is dead.

It`s always difficult to do fault finding on a mainboard.
Many thing can go wrong.
And it will sometimes cost more
than a new mainboard or pc to solve the problem.
Ask a qualified repair shop (hp support) about known issues
with this mainboard.

That would leave the audio outputs as the problem, double check the speaker wires for shorts, if okay! I recommend a professional assess the unit for repair.

power supply maybe bad. usually it will be blinking if theres something wrong with it but seen them stay sold to. you can take the power supply out and take it to a local computer repair shop the test is usually free and they will do it for free. power supply run from 30 to 100 dollars. I am working on the same issue. It is either the power supply or invertor board. Please let me know if you find anything out. did you open the tv and check the power supply for bulging caps?

HDMI switching is an ongoing problem for the 606. A number of people are having the same problem. Mine is at the local repair shop and Onkyo has told them the part is on backorder until April. I would look at another brand or upgrade to a higher leval Onkyo.
