SIM Toolkit Refresh Warning when Roaming - need to disable GPRS

When roaming (& only when roaming) I periodically get a warning: "SIM Toolkit refresh operation is not available while GPRS connection is active. Pleaes disable GPRS Connection & try again" I disable GPRS. the SIM toolkit refreshes automatically & I continue. But it happens at least once an hour is is quite annoying. Is there any setting I can update to prevent this. I need the GPRS connection when roaming.

My cordless telkomphone show a roaming warning when dialing a no is that normal can't connect if I don't say yes ?

Telkom coverage is very spotty.
You may simply be outside a primary area of reception.
You CAN say Yes to roaming, BUT it is much more expensive to use your phone when you are Roaming.

My cordless phone show roaming on when I contact a number and ask if I want to continue with call is that normal

its okay, seems that someone have mis-changed your phone setting, go to setting & check call menu & disable the roaming feature, no worries from the warning, as long as you are using a landline, and roaming is just active in phone menu but not in network operator

How do I change billing to different credit card, and can I make calls from Europe while using my Consumer Cellular card?

FIXYA unpaid volunteers cannot arrange your cellphone or credit cards.

It appears you are asking about cell phone calling but I may have misunderstood your question.

Call Consumer Cellular Customer Support toll free at
(888) 345-5509

https://www.consumercellular.com/Help/international-rates/roaming
You can use your Consumer Cellular service when traveling outside the U.S. by enabling international roaming. The countries where our service can be used are listed here.
Consumer Cellular utilizes multiple network providers. The network provider your specific cellular service uses determines international roaming availability. To confirm your international roaming options, contact Customer Support at (888) 345-5509. We recommend doing so at least two weeks before leaving the U.S.
On some networks with Consumer Cellular, usage incurred from the countries listed will be billed at international roaming rates of $0.30 per talk minute, $0.10 per text message, and $0.25 per MB of data usage. On other networks with Consumer Cellular, those costs can be much higher, or international roaming may not be available. Be aware that when using your phone internationally, charges can add up, so it is always best to use on a more limited basis. For your protection, service will be disabled once we have received billing records showing $50 in international roaming charges has been incurred on your account during a billing period (this includes calls, text messages, and web data). Due to delays in receiving billing records, your charges will likely have exceeded $50 when international access is disabled.

I had a roaming sim but then my phone says contact service provider? what is contact service provider neans?

Sounds like the service has been suspended. Typically, on roaming SIMs, you need to add top up credit periodically. If you do not do this, the card because deactivated and you get that message.

It stands for roaming, which means that the phone is connected to your providers network. You may want to check with your provider to make sure that your not being charged extra for roaming, as this can become costly.
