Depends on which system you have. M7310 is just the phone model which is compatible with all norstar meridian systems.
The easiest way (which only works on one of the phone system models) is to dial Feature ** TIME and use 23646 as the password. If feature **TIME doesn't work for you, it might be best to do it with someone over the telephone since it can be slightly tricky.
Hi guys, i hope everything ok with you all, the reason i contacting with you is, im live in Tampa Florida by the Tampa International Airport and i do have my own company, but there is anyone who wants to throw away or wanted give it away for free the Norstar Phones M7310 M7324 T7316e and if you have also the Norstar systems 6x16 or 3x8 and doesn't wanted anymore at all because you buy a differents phones and systems or something happen you can donated to us and i can go personal and get it, please we just have 7 oldest M7310 since 1989 and 2 of them starting giving me problems, and i trying many different ways and making a lot phones calls, and there is no Technical Support can help me at all, please there is somebody who live in Tampa or near to Tampa can donated to us the Norstar telephones and the Norstar Systems 6x16 or 3x8 beside throw it away please, there is somebody available, no matter how is the Norstar Meridian telephones looks like and same with the Norstar systems if long is working fine and in good or better or perfect conditions we can accept that with all our heart. Either the line from the telephone company is out or the line port in the line card is defective. The easiest way to determine if its one or the other is to report the line trouble to the telephone company. they'll check the line up to where it comes into the building, and if theres a problem on thier side they'll get it back in service. If the report the line is good to the building, then you'll need to call your telephone system service technician.
The Norstar 616 system was made before CLID was readily available. You could however, purchase a Nortel CICS system with CLID card(s). CI trunk cards handle up to 4 lines per card making the capacity of the system 8 lines by 16 stations.The CICS system will work with the existing m7310 sets you have so you wouldn't have to incur the cost of new telephones.
THE PHONE IN THE BACK IS THIS A NORSTAR PHONE. WHAT IS THE QWEST VMAIL AND WHAT DOES THE NORSTAR SYSTEM LOOK LIKE . SOUNDS TO ME THAT QWEST IS SUPPLING VMAIL AND NOT YOU OWEN NORSTAR COULD YOU CLARIFY THIS FOR ME.
Rushy: I assume you have a KSU which controls the entire system. The KSU is cabled to each line number provided by your local phone company. Once you have this line established it now makes contact with your phone set via dedicated cabling to each telephone set.. With all this hardware in place you can now program the line keys on each set for either one touch dialing or line access for your dial tone. Program guides can be aquired through GOOGLE by entering " Norstar m7310 program guide".Thank You. Jerry
