Yes audiobahn do make a QUAD coil, and some people get confused with the - - + + on the terminal, This is called a dual lug, Check out Audiobahn.com and go to tech suport. Thier you can look up the wiring diagram for this sub... TRUST ME hope this was helpful positive feed back be nice lol
depends on how you're hooking them up to the amp, and what type of amp it is you are using. but to wire them parallel, and drop the ohm rating, assuming it's a dual voice coil sub, you wire - to + on the sub, then - to the - on the amp, and + to + on the amp. Here's a diagram:
Contact company the can send you diagrams or go to a stero stop they should be able to help because some shop have wire diagrams for best way to get the most thump in you r trunk.Make sure you know the ohms your subs is 1-2-4 ohms.Should say on the back of your sub and how many contacts are on in two or four.
you can go to audiobahns website. just fill in the specs like how many subs you have and what kind of amp/amps and it will give you all available wiring options.
parallel wiring (if your amplifier is 1 ohm mono stable)
All positives together and all negatives together.
If your amplifier is not 1 ohm mono stable you will need a series/parallel which is a little more difficult.
Here is a wiring link..... http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_configurations.asp
I used to have exactly the same subwoofer. It has dual voice coils which are driven independently. Hope the diagrams help out. Just make sure you know how many ohms your amp is. Wiring Option #1
hi there, do you have an amplifier to hook it upto mate? if you do its best to go into your local halfords etc and ask for a wiring kit for you car audio, or search on ebay, theyre normally around 20pounds. then it will come with instructions on where certain wires go etc, the 8 outputs are probably so you can connect two subs together. they should have a pos and neg on them somewhere. if you dont have an amp you probably need to buy one. if you have any further queries just ask mate
