WOOO HOOO!!!!!.....finally at long last got the wii set up.....I have to say the instructions in the book that you get with the wii dont explain it very well.

I've sat on the phone for the last 2 days on and off trying to get thro to nintendo wii themselves, just got thro and had the problem sorted out in seconds.

When you sync the hand controls into the consule you press the red sync button on the consule 1st, just a quick press, the same again with the hand controls.....then bobs your uncle.....got it going in seconds.....thanx to everyone for you help

I am having the exact same problem. After a couple hours of frustration I typed it in on google any you're post came up. We finally fiigured out to press the console sync button first which your post said and not the manual and it worked. Thank you so much for posting this you saved us hours more of frustration.

Thank you so much for posting this we finally figured it out after finding your post. Yes, the guide doesn't mention to push the sync button on console first we would have never figured it if it wasn't for your post. Thanks again.

I too found my solution with your post after getting "bad" information on another post (or maybe the way you said it sunk in where the other didn't). Thanks!

Get a replacement product!!!!!! These Wii's are so popular and there are so many of them out there...that some are bound to be faulty, as mine was!! I experienced every problem that is listed here....from locking up during a game, to not getting past the press A screen. when it's good it's brilliant, but when it's bad, it's CRAP!!!!!!!!

Does the cursor show up? have you been pointing towards the sensor bar? Are the batteries ok?
anke sure you check everything and anything. Take a break to think and check out something in the manuel if something's missing.

I cant choose anything on my WII homepage;no cursor

OK the problem is your censor. (if you dont know, its that long thin bar that comes with your wii.) there is really 3 things that could fix your censor: 1. move it because the censor cant read the controller, make sure the censor is plugged in, or get a new censor since its probably broken.

Cant get 4600i started. powers up but will not get past intro screen. screen shows F1 to continue and when i press F1 it tells me to press it again to retry reboot, F2 for setup options.

you need to go to cmos or bios setup, set all the date and time and proper boot setting there save and exit, it is a cmos or bios failure that causes these problems try replacing the cmos battery if the message still continues

Wii will not load past Health and Safety screen.

Hi,

Try a hard-reset. Unplug the console from the Mains For 5-10 Minutes.
Wii returns back to default settings.

Thankyou for Using Fixya.
