I discovered that you must only use an SD card and not an SDHD card.
I bought a bigger SD card (2Gig), installed it and copied the data I wanted without any probs. With the SDHD card I couldn't transfer anything and didn't get any help as to why...(there's a lot to be said for trial & error).
i have a chinese made 4gb ipod too all the laanguage is in chinese so i dnt know how to change it and i want to put songs on it please help send it to [email protected]
Please go to a electronics store and buy a USB card reader. I bought one last week and it cost $0.5 so its cheap as dirt. Then simply remove the card from your camera , pop it into the reader and the pictures will appear on a drive like a flashdrive in your my computer folder.
This is a much better option than using the camera's cable as it is faster , safer , saves on your camera battery and you don't need to install any software or drivers.
The card reader will most likely also still be compatible with any new camera you buy in future.
Try updating your firmware, because "default" firmwares have problems sometimes with WMP Sync features that also adds a DRM code to each transfered track.
If not, make sure you use standard .mp3 extensions for your songs, because on basic settings WMP converts your audio files to .wma when you transfer it to an mp3 player
First of all i didnt report a problem on a 'ipod video 30gb black......its a 2gb silver nano....and based solely on this one email, i'd be more comfortable simply buying another ipod rather than dealin with maybe this,or try that.......hell i could've already bought a new one and installed the music in this length of time......at some point you would think that these 2 systems would be a little more end user friendly and ya wouldn't need an IT degree to do basic stuff.....oh wait, sorry i drifted off into fantasy land....anyhow thanks for your concerns about my problem.Good luck!
just try this one. try to insert your flashdrive to a usb port where it is compatible then a message will appear saying open folders to view files then you can now copy and paste a pictures or songs on the pc or on ur flashdrve.
