How do I set alarm? Instructions long gone

To the left of the display are two buttons, engraved "1" and "2". (Note, I'm NOT referring to the buttons for radio presets, which are below.)

Hold either of these buttons for a second or two to enter alarm set mode. The screen prompts will prompt you to set the time for the alarm to go off using the time set buttons to the right of the display. You can also press one of the radio preset buttons or the AUX or CD buttons to wake to one of those. Once you're done setting the alarm, quick presses of these alarm buttons turn the alarm on and off and choose between music and beeper.

As a side note, if you've installed the backup battery and the power fails during the night, the alarm will still go off with the beeper so you're not late for work -- a thoughtful touch from Cambridge Soundworks.

If no additional buttons are pressed the time will reset in about 10 seconds and the display will stop blinking.

TO SET THE DATE press the "mode" button 4 times. The current date setting will flash on the display. Decrease the date by pressing 3. Increase the date by pressing 4.

TO SET THE ALARM Press the "mode "button once. The display will begin to flash. Change the hours by pressing either 1 (increase) or 2 (decrease). To change the minutes, press 3 or 4. 3 decreases the minutes and 4 increases the minutes. Once you have the time reset, leave the unit alone for about 10 seconds. the display will stop blinking indicating the time has been reset.

TO ACTIVATE THE ALARM push the round button on the far right. You will see the alarm icon come on or off on the LCD display on the right side. Be sure you have set the AM or PM time correctly on the alarm time. It helps to recheck this now as I have made this mistake several times.

I cant find the manual so I dont remember how to set the weekday alarm. Also can you show a picture of what the display should look like when the alarm is set? Or describe it? Thank you.

Press the Alarm button. The weekday alarm symbol will appear. Then press and hold the Alarm button for 2 seconds to enter the set mode (the hour will blink). Use the up/down buttons to choose the hour for the alarm (note the A.M./P.M. if in 12 hour mode). Press Alarm again and the minute will blink. Again use the up/down arrows to set the desired time. Press Alarm once more to exit the set mode.

To activate or deactivate the alarm, press the Alarm button until the weekday alarm icon appears. Then use the up/down arrows to activate or deactivate the alarm. When the alarm is set and active, the time will show. If the alarm has been deactivated, then dashes will appear instead of the time.

The single alarm is set and checked similarly.

I hope this helps.

Cindy Wells
(I suspect that the weekday alarm icon continues to display when the alarm is active.)
