Make sure the hold button is switched off.

Click the link below and select the O/S for downloads. I think you only need thr installation CD if your O/S is Windows 98.

How to download songs onto mp3 player

Follow this and you will be a pro! First download limewire at www.limewire.com just the basic don't pay extra for the pro. Log onto limewire and type in type music artist etc on the top left of limewire screen. Click on song you want and click on download below. Once it says it is 100% downloaded another small area will open up and you will have several areas to click on. They will highlight for use when you click on the song at the second lower level. Click on explore. Make sure you Mp3 is attached and on you will see option once you click on explore. Click on save this file and then highlight Mp3 Device and then highlight the song and it will download into your device. NOTE: only use Mp3 files and never use files that say "file corrupted" simply download another choice above. Now go have a great time!!! Good Luck!!!

SanDisk Sansa Clip

Use Windows Media Player to transfer the songs downloaded from Limewire to your Sansa. The first time you open Windows Media Player, it will search the "My Music" folder for songs - this may take a few minutes. Mkae sure you have Windows Media Player 10 or 11. You can either move or copy the Limewire songs to the folder called "My Music," or go into Windows Media Player and change Windows Media Player's configuration so that it can read the Limewire downloads folder.

Reads Bad Track

If you changed the name of the song then thats the problem just simply change its name back to the original.

If thats not the problem then just delete the song or it will mess your sansa up and download it again for free with limewire

Sansa m250 won't finish "finalizing update"

Ummmmm.... What are you doing exactly if your trying to download the music, Download using limewire, bearshare,
Its not going to work on Itunes most of the time so just use Limewire or bearshare. Connect the Mp3 using the Usb thing and try to put it in front of the cpu or behind either 1 of them.
After you should probably get a pop up scroll down and go to view folders or whatever and open it and put the music you want in the mp3 and when yur done beside the clock look for a Safetly USB remover or whatever and disconnect it.
I hope it works

Sansa Player Back-UP

This may or may not help you, but I've connected my Sansa m250 to two computers. One has Windows XP and the other has Windows 2000. And neither can see the other's files. The file structure you describe sounds like what I see on the Windows 2000. For some reason it shows it as a disk - the same as a memory stick. It can't see what was drag and dropped or loaded by Windows Media Player. So I would make sure I used the same computer that was to used to transfer the files.
