CHECK THE THERMOSTAT, IT NEEDS REPLACEMENT

Check your defrost timer also make sure its turning also there's a thermostat and heating element that defrost the ice at given cycles

your cooling matchine get damaged,there having a cooling matchine.

it not freezing because it cooling system must be damaged,you bought another cooling machine it has mini size and it fixed at the point of older cooling placce.

Air channels freezing? they might be blocked with foreign matter, clean them out. This might also be as simple as turning down the dial for how much you wish to cool the unit. Running it constantly at full blast is not a good idea.

I have one of these, made in mexico, could be freon, mine had a wire unhooked inside, rear of freezer for the defrost. It was froze up, so i dethawed it, found the wire and hooked it up and has been good ever since.

It sounds to me like the defrost isn't working somewhere.It freezes for 2 weeks until the evaporator coil freezes over and you lose your airflow, hence, your cooling. Then when you shut the unit off for 6 hours it thaws out enough to get you cooling again for 2 weeks.Check your defrost timer and see if it is going into defrost and if your defrost elements are good. Both will be located on top of the unit. Good luck!

Things to look for and fix yourself woulf be to clean the coils on the bottom and check the fan motor on bottom, make sure it is ok, Look on back of the freezer walls for frost buildup, a sign the defrost heater is dead.

We ahve a two year old Frrigidaire Freezer. every year same time it seems to correct itself(?), like self defrosting etc, and takes a long time come back to its cooling level. This is made in brazil G series. Please help.
