Normally all what is heard is HUM which needs one to listen. Hiowever is you experience a high noise then being a priviledge customer you need to get a consensus to your viewpoint as the fridge is covered with warranty.

Hi, It depends....it may be loud for a hour or so, but should quiet down as it cools... There is an explanation for this, but it is very long and would involve intricate details about refrigeration systems...
If it does not quiet down after a 1/2 day then call the place where you got it and return it...
the fan goes off when door opened and when closes it will turn back on is normal operation of fan and door control --as to noise --fan may be failing ---iced over ----if seal failing will cause unit to run more and allows more moisture into evap which can cause more ice over
