Help My Sansa e260 is not showing the music that I put on there. I will use Windows Media Player and syncronize music onto it. When I look at the music I have on my sansa when it's hooked up, by going to my computer, it shows the music I just downloaded onto it. When I unplug it and try to listen to the newly downloaded music, though, nothing shows up. It's like the music wasn't ever downloaded onto it. It was working fine before, but recently it's been doing this. I've even tried using a different computer, but the same thing happens. Please help me. Much thanks if you can help!!!

My Sandisk Clip 4gb player kee[s showing me the not enough space messgae. Can i reset it without deleting my music?

For this issue, the reason why you're receiving this message is that some of the songs that are loaded on your Sansa is already corrupted and the only way you can resolve this is to format the MP3 player. This is a known issue with this particular player, specially if your combining the MTP mode and the MSC mode. MTP mode is your device will show as a Multimedia device under your computer and allows you syncronize your songs using Windows Media player . MSC (Mass Storage Class) mode lets you drag and drop songs directly to the player under windows explorer just like a flash drive.

Download music to my scandisk sansa e260

When you turn on the player, select the music menu, and then scroll down until the playlists logo appears - select that and then your playlist name should be there.

If it still isn't there, then the songs that you tried to sync have some sort of licensing restriction on them that does not allow them to be synced to a portable device - wmp will show them as synced, but alas - they will never actually show up on the player.

Windows Media Player won;t sync music!

Turn off the automatic sync option - change it to manual sync, and then you should be good to go. Change to manual sync first, and then reformat.

Music not showing up even when downloaded

Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.
-----
Download the Sansa Recovery Tool from the Sansa website.
Format - Erases Everything: Connect your Sansa player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "Sansa 1GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything.
Firmware Upgrade- Erases Everything: Get the latest firmware upgrade from Sansa - it updates the firmware and erases every song in the player all at once. Note: this method doesn't work if already have the latest firmware. Go to this website and click "Firmware Updater" to find out: http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/DriverDownloads.aspx
