Only monitar on off probleam sx280 not cpu only desktop.

first remove the cover of your computer after switching off the system and removing the power plug the power the system and see whether the processor fan is working if not power off the system and remove the 24 pin connector from the smps to the motherboard and short the green and black pin of the conector from the smps and see the smps fan is working if not replace the smps if working then remove the memory from the slot and clean them or change the memory to which match the dimm slot an connect the connector and switch on the computer

When i on my pc hp dc7100 it is red light blinking please solve my problem.

P4B-M standby LED lighted and CPU fan jerked a little and stopped when power is plugged into the power supply unit. The motherboard does not seem to power up/ CPU fan remain still even the power switch on...

This is an issue with the power supply (SMPS) in your computer... Replace the SMPS will fix the issue...
It is not adviced to service the SMPS, because servicing the SMPS will not give proper power supply to the board, which may result in damage of Motherboard...

My desktop pc will not power up when I push the power button.

Hi,
May be the smps has damaged,

Switch off the PC from main power board.
Open pc cover, now press to run the PC again.
Try to see either the heat sing fan is running or not.
If not run the fan change the smps or repair by any technician.
Contract soon for any further solution.

I am able to turn on cpu but the monitor is not displaying it. Power is coming, Two fans are running in C.P.U. Some times fans not work. Kindly suggest me why this happens and give the solution for it.

You have a problem with your SMPS. Kindly send your SMPS to a repairing shop. If the guy suggests you to buy a new SMPS then there is hardly anything that u can do instead of buying a new one. I had the same problem once had to replace the SMPS as even after two repairs the SMPS wasn't working properly. There is a prob with the switching regulator for sure if your monitor works perfectly then.

SMPS Fan not rotating fully

you can check that how much time you spent with the SMPS if it is more then 2-3 years then change it because it is damaged in 2-3 years and after changing then also not work then you go to mechanic and checked your motherboar

What i have understand that u r Motherboard getting the power supply but i want to know that is u r SMPS power supply fan rotating or not if no then u have to change the SMPS if it is ratating then u have check the power switch in u CPU cabinate is that power switch wire properly connected to the motherboard if it is connected then check wether it is connected in right place or not i hope this information will going to help you.

Dear,
You can test you smps simply by shorting any of the back wire and green wire. this will switch on your smps withour connecting with mother board. IF it the fan rotate, SMPS is ok.
If you need more trouble shooting on SMPS you have to measure the volate on each wire after powering on.
