Hi Jill, I have a Garmin and it updates maps from Australia AND New Zealand.... I'm in Australia and know if I turned my Garmin on in Sydney then Sydney maps would come on screen but if I turned my Garmin on in Wellington I believe Wellington maps would come on screen..... If you don't have a Garmin then who knows....CHEERS..
