Download and install the latest bios update form Toshiba (use a USB floppy drive to install)
after update the Portage will find and boot from a USB dvd/cd drive and will install XP or other operating system. Be patient the first part of the install goes very slowly.

Setup did not found any hard disk installed+toshiba s100-s1133. While trying install windows xp

SATA HARD DRIVE - XP INSTALLATION
The problem is that XP installation CD does not have a SATA driver, unless you have a SATA drive on a disk etc. and can install the driver when XP asks for a hard drive driver then, XP cannot detect the hard disk and therefore won't install XP. The FIX. Go into the BIOS and disable the SATA drive (enable IDE emulation), this will make XP think it is a IDE/PATA hard disk. Then you can install XP normally. When Windows has been installed then install all the device drivers (including the SATA driver), then shut down and boot up and got into the BIOS and enable the SATA drive.

Hello, i have sony vaio VPCEB46FG laptop & i have

Hi,

You're getting what's known as the 'blue screen of death' as some may call it.
This happens for various reasons, but usually occurs when Windows encounters a conflict with a hardware component in your laptop. When you try to install XP, are you doing so as a secondary operating system (dual OS boot) or are you trying to install it over Windows 7?
If you are installing XP over Windows 7, try doing a full format during setup instead of the usual quick setup. This may take some time, possibly requiring you to format the hard drive overnight but it may well solve any 'blue screen' issues you're experiencing.

Let me know if I can assist any further.

Best wishes,
Graemevm

I WANT TO FORMAT MY TOSHIBA PORTEGE 7200CT LAPTOP TO WINDOW XP.HOWEVER,I DO NOT KNOW TO TO FORMAT

The instructions for this procedure are quite involved if you are talking about formatting and reinstalling the laptop operating system software. You need to have these things:
A Legitimate copy of the Operating system software on an official microsoft release CD that is bootable. Then you go to the bios in the startup usually by pressing the delete key while laptop is booting. then go to the boot proiority list and make sure the cd drawer is in the first option. Reboot the computer and then when the option to boot from cd comes up, press any key and it will boot from the cd.
Once the installation options appear, you need to select the hard disk to use and then select the format and install Windows XP. Select format using NTFS filing system and then the process starts to format the drive and install the file need to complete setup.
Once the GUI portion of set up installs and you have logged in for the first time, don't forget to change the boot priority back to the hard disk!
Hope this helps :D

How do i instal drivers for my graphic card on laptop toshiba portege 4010.operating sistem is xp

You need to find the full model number to download the driver, but you can either do it on the laptop or another computer and transfer it to a thumb drive. Should be in an executable file or compressed folder. XP can open both using windows explorer by double-clicking.

Rebuild

A PCMCIA CD drive will work, but only some models. Toshiba makes one, and it would be your best bet.
