We've seen similar problems due to an intermittent failure in the control board. If you can have it removed we can likely repair it for you.

It sounds like the control board of the timer is faulty. Do you need the electronic timer/clock. If you don't it is normally easy to by-pass the timer altogether. Find the main active wire coming into the timer. Then identify the load wiring which runs from the timer to the oven thermostat control. These two wires simply need to be connected and the timer is bypassed and the oven will work.

You may need to see the secondary error code (F1-E?). The chart below is for a KitchenAid Range. Most likely is a control board issue. We rebuild control boards if you want to save some money compared to new.

Kitchen aid stove oven shutting off reading error f2:E5 what happened?

Electronic range clock failure. You will need to replace this part. It is located where your keypad is. You will need to get behind it and pull the part out and replace it with the exact kind from repairclinic.com
