Question about Polaroid TLA-01911C TV
Polaroid TLA-01911C TV - I seem to have the same probels that most have. I turn on the Tv and it works for about 10 sec then the screen goes blank. I have researched the problem a bit. I changed the capacitors, and it worked for about 30 sec. until I heard a high freq. buzzing then it went dead again. what should be my next attack? and how would I test it? mjb
I had the same problem - replaced the capacitors which cleaned up the signal. Then I hear a "buzzing" from the CCFL lamps. Turns out the solder job on the CCFL's themselves was shoddy and corroded. No good CCFL Power trips the inverter and turns the lamps off. Resoldering the wire to the end of the CCFL's fixed the problem permanently.

This model has the inverter and the power supply on the same board
changing it might help, if the lamps inside your lcd monitor are good, i have couple of those waiting for power suply/inverter board.

You probably have a bad inverter PCB. It is a skinny board by itself over on the left side of the back of the panel.
