Bunn Coffee Filter Basket Tray Broken

Check with Bunn and see if there has been a recall. I did in Canada and they sent me a new machine complete with some Tim Horton's coffee! http://www.bunn.com/

clean with CLR and then water rinse....use DRIP fine grind
1 tablespoon per cup..........remember strength is the coffee and the amount of water.

If you are using your machine everyday, it won't dry out. If you will call us at customer service at 800-352-2866 we can send you out a manual for your machine.

If it is leaking out past the filter basket, it can be fron two things- either the basket edges are worn out, and is allowing water to leak past it, or the hole is being partially blocked by scale or caked coffee. in the first case, try replacing the filter basket. In the second case, you can either clean out thr hole or try running a drill bit through it to clear the hole.

The little sprinkler in the grounds basket fell off and you probably accidentally threw it out. It splits the hot water stream into three streams. I just emailed bunn and they sent me one for free.

Tim Horton bunn coffee maker is leaking from the bottom when I make a

Put the filter in, put the coffee grounds into the filter, put water into the machine, put the coffee basket into the machine, put the pot under the spout, press start.

Some people also try adding fresh grounds to brewed grounds, resulting in an overflow. A restricter valve can be used, but a better solution is to simply pour in half the water at a time. This is what people who buy non Bunn filters do to stop overfills.

You may be grinding the coffee to fine making the draining a little slower. There's something called a fast flow filter that may help also. Also, make sure that you aren't jamming the filter down to partially block the drain hole ensuring that it is freely draining out unobstructed
