To Factory reset your router you need to locate the Reset Button at the back of the router. The Reset Button is the small hole at the back and you need a Pen or a Paperclip to press it. Press and hold the reset button for 15-30 seconds. Make sure that the router is on when you reset it.
To access the router page just open a browser then type 192.168.0.1. the username is admin and the password is blank.

you need to reset the router usually you need to hold down the reset button for about 30 seconds to fully reset it, also google the make and model of the router and you should be able to get some detailed instructions but a full reset will allow you to enter the routers setup and enter your own password and properly configure it's security features for your needs, best of luck!
