Whenever I turn the printer on it just keeps printing little weird symbols like one or two lines per page and then goes to the next page and does the same thing just different symbols and it goes on and on and on.

There is a job in the print queue. At the start of a print job a code is sent saying print the following data as graphics because you have turned the printer off it thinks that all the data is text. You need to delete the job in the print queue. Select the printer in Control Panel>Printers and it should show you a list of print jobs. Delete them

Printer will not quit feeding paper and does not print the requested page, just prints a line or two of weird symbols per page over and over.

Your driver on your computer is bad, power off the printer, (your printer will not stop printing the gibberish). Download the driver through your control panel. Once you go through the steps to set up the new driver, it'll print out a test print. *It'll ask you if you want the new driver as your default printer, say yes. I would delete the bad driver after you set up the new driver.

After hours it will print the alphabet and numbers by itself

This sounds like a test print. Are the membrane switches torn or depressed on the front panel? If you hold down LF or FF as you turn on the printer, you will get this same test pattern printed. You can also try reseating the connection between the front panel to the logic board along the left front corner of the printer.
