My T1760 blows white smoke for 60 sec when starting

You have to check for a coolant leak into the cumbustion chamber. This unit is liquid cooled. Check coolant level and check head bolts for torque

It could be your choke stuck, but check you oil level and smell it does it smell like fuel. if so have your carb check out. Little lube on the chock lever. you may want to have your compression check and a leak down test done.
