Ebac xl Dehumidifier not collecting water

you could try ebay.or try asking google if there is a place near were you live.

I see by my computer this is a UK unit made for UK climates.
I also found various web sites you can access for help with your unit. Please explore these.

If it was frozen and is now thawing, you will probably find some water in the collection container and some on the floor.

sounds like the fan - its worth taking apart and seeing which bit squeeks, if its the bearing try a small amount of WD40 first. try not to get any on the motor of electrics. You can by an electrolube spray if is is the Fan... Well worth taking apart, the latest EBAC models are of very poor quality.
I also had a Homedry for 15 years and the cabinets started to root first... I've had three 2560e's since all replaced under warranty - pcb failures...

These are somewhat related to cooling systems so the system may need a coolant recharge like any AC. Check your user guide to see if there is any mention of a need for recharging.
