    Thanks for the quick reply!!!
My cable box doesn't work so i have the cable hooked into the cable input. When it did i had the same problem.Anything hooked through cable input makes this annoying fuzzy static sound!(on any tuning setting) My converter box does the same thing when hooked to the cable input. so...you think the tv tuner is off frequency? how is this fixed? do i have to take it into a shop?
    thanks! Nelson

Your TVs tuner tuned a little off frequency. It could be as simple as having cable box on where you have good picture but fuzzy sound, use the TVs remote to change the channel and then change it back to proper channel. If that doesn't fix you may have wrong tuning type selected in channel set up menu.

When i try to record the sound, it is only fuzzy! what do i do?

the speakers plug/outlet is usually at the back of the computer you will have to open up the computer to check the lead attached to the rear of the input plug make sure the connection is good
or you might have to clean the dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the CPU central processing unit and your sound card dust causes static to build up in a computer causing it to overheat any many other problems
be sure to wear an anti static earth strap before touching anything inside your computer
hope this helps

Y Component Cable Related - Internal Static Noise

It sounds like one of those cables has a defective ground. The static noise you are experiencing is cause by the cables not inside the TV. Try using different cables to isolate the problem and get new ones.
Good Luck.

I have hdtv runnung out the "TV/CABLE" and

hi, try using the audio inputs for something that generally doesnt have video associated with it, like cd or sacd. do you have a headphone to rca adaptor you can use from the computer to the cd input (bottom row). try this and see if the sound quality is good enough for your purposes. music and video games will be pretty good, but movies may not be nearly as good. if you are trying to send video through the receiver from the computer, you might have to bypass video and send it straight to the vga input on the tv. you can still run audio though the receiver.
hope this helps!

Samsung LN-R329D has fuzzy video. Menus look fine.

thats a good assumption. try multiple sources and see if its just the one source. if its fuzzy, maybe youre using coax cable?? and the cable is bad or has poor signal. try tightening all the connections and making sure the cables are ok, let me know if this doesn't help.

Fuzzy picture

You might want to try a new cable, otherwise it might be a loose jack that if your daring enough, you could fix yourself

Cable connection generating static on screen & noise

Hi, it sounds like ya most probably gonna haveta resolder the Cable Connection Socket internally.. they often fracture, OR perhaps it is the Actual Cable Connection Plug itself?.. maybe you need to remake this input connection? Indeed it sounds as if the Earth Shielding is making bad contact...

FUZZY (SNOWY) PICTURE

When you say you have tried all the inputs you are not clear if you mean tuner, vcr, dvd, aux, etc. If you are talking about only the cable input it sounds like you have a bad tuner. To obtain picture in picture there are 2 tuners in your set. This would explain why the small picture is ok while the main picture is bad. You should be able to swap the signals (see your ops manual). Try this. If the snow moves the one tuner is bad. If you have put other signals in (besides cable)such as dvd then the problem is in the matrix circuitry where the two signals merge. Either problem should be easy for a good tech to solve and not cost a whole lot.
