You need a standard SD digital memory card (not the newer HC high capacity cards as Magellan does not guarantee compatibility although I did get one to work that was a micro SD card with the full SD adapter). You will need to put your mp3 music files from your PC onto the SD card just as you would your mp3 player; insert the SD card into an SD slot on your computer, laptop or USB adapter and copy the files to the card. After files are saved, put the card into the slot on the right side of the Maestro and then refer to the User Manual (http://www.magellangps.com/support/product.asp) page 64 to see how to play the music. You can play through radio speakers or by using headphones/ear buds with a USB connector.

I don't know how to put music on it

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You can download mp3 music files from the Internet to your computer and then copy them to your MP3 player using the USB cable. For your CD collection, you need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto your computer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3 player after you have connected the USB cable to the MP3 player and the computer.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player will create a MP3 music file for each music track. Click on this link for instruction on converting music files to mp3 file format :- http://www.fixya.com/support/r5798418-creating_transferring_mp3_music_files

My screen has where there is a name or picture that is mixed with other thing like other names or pic how do i fix it

I'm assuming this is connected via USB cable.
If so, connect through USB on your computer, and remove all the music but don't delete and it.
Reset the mp3 player, and put the music back on it,

I have a CD and i don`t know how to put htat music on the MP3 player! Pleas help me!!

Copy all the music from the cd to your computer, you can create a folder for that particular cd, then when you connect your MP3 Player to the computer you can just select the music you wanted to add in your playlist..

hope it helps

How to first use it

I have the Nextar Navigator V7. I just down loaded microsofts activesync software 4.5 and I was able to transfer music from my computer to my Nextar GPS. Just google the software and download; it's free. Then copy your MP3 files from your PC to your GPS by putting them in ResidentFlash/MobileNavigator folder found after you synchronize the GPS and PC. Good luck.... I hope this helps. Nextar is really bad as far as helping customers out with problems

I don,t know how to put music on my mp3 player

Windows Media Player has the Sync tab. I believe that WMP 9 does. But not 10. Either way, you can just open up the player in the My Computer folder. Then copy and paste any music files you have.

Dont know how to download

Take the SD card out and put a different one in with mp3 music files on it and you can use it as a mp3 player. DO NOT use the original SD card as you will delete the data that is necessary to use it as a GPS. I don't understand why anyone would want to use this as a mp3 player. Sound quality is terrible.

To download

The manual is helpful isn't it?

Your music and pictures need to be installed onto a SD memory card. Take an empty card and copy the MP3 or pictures onto the card. Install the card into the GPS. Use the correct player (for pics or MP3) and see if it detects the music on the memory card.

It seems like it works the same way if you were to put music or photos onto a Palm. It may need a special folder on the card to read the photos or MP3s. I would put it into the GPS first, let the GPS format it, and see if it creates folders for them.
