I purchased a samsung sgh-g600 from the bootsale. i was shown it all workin and that it was not blocked then the seller took his sim out an i brought it. once i got home and put my sim in it it is asking for the phone lock code can u help please thank you

HI If you are asking for pin contact your service provider , he will give you a default pin .

If you try pin more than few predefined no of times your phone will ask PUK code which can also be given only by your service provider which is specific for each and every mobile number . Do not try PUK(new pin code) code many times or else your sim will be blocked and you will need a new sim.

Contact your sim customer care department over phone. Its free of cost to get the pin or puk no.
Go to the nearest service outlet of your service provider they can also help you.
There is no other go than the above procedure only your service provider can give it nobody else in this world nor any software.

try another sim card. You can also try the sim in another phone or computer to confirm that it is the sim and not the phone.

call ur sim operator n ask fr mms settings...u jst save it thn n mw u can send n receive mms......

If there is a security code on it ask the seller to provide that for you, but if its not accepting sim cards ,take it to the phone engineers to help you reset it ,flash it and register your net provider.
