Laptop wont power up.

Hi there merry xmas to you all.When I press the switch button of my laptop,the light of the button lights up and the light of the hard drive flickers about three time and dies out. The screen remains black and I can hear the fan running for just a short while and also stops. Pppplllllllease someone help me I have so much data that I would not like to lose. Oh by the way I have a compaq Presario R3000

Etouch android wont charge
switch off.wait for 5 mins.
connect to pc or laptop with usb cable.
press & hold power button till it turns on then off.
press power button for 3 secs.it should work.
if no luck try this-
switch on by pressing power button while holding volume + and -.
keep hold of both until powers on.
can take few mins.

Hi there, It seams charger or battery is faulty. It is hard to say which of the 2 is faulty as alot of laptops will not run if the battery is not installed. I would advise you take it in for repairs so they can test your battery and charger.

hi, press the switch on button on the laptop i mean power of the laptop for a while till all the lights get off , then release the switch on button ,and switch on the laptop by pressing the button normally then the laptop should start to run normally, . if i helped u or my info didnt help u let me know... thanks

Laptop wont even boot up
Do you have it on a power strip? if so try resitting it,if the battery is at full charge then you have an internal problem in the laptop itself.Bad power board,etc.Hope this helps.

Extract your battery from your laptop for 12 min, then start your computer using your power cable (don't use your battery), if not try pressing F2 rapidly when opening, after you open your operating system try changing your graphics card drivers.

Laptop wont switch on fully
Did you press F8 as you boot up to get boot up options and did try the Last Known good Configuration and Safe Mode?
If these didn't work I suggest you re-install Windows.

Most likely the only thing wrong is the power button. Try to either replace the power button board or use a wire to short circuit the two points under the push button to turn the machine on.

Laptop notebook
Your battery may be drained .

Turn off remove ur battery and switch it to ac power and start again .

If its ok insert battery and charge it.

LAPTOP WONT TURN ON OR DO ANYTHING

Remove all the cables etc inc the power lead
Remove the battery
Hold the power button down for 20 seconds
Replace battery & Re-start. If you are as lucky as me it will be 'Hey-Presto' and lots of happiness.
