I had the same "speed stall" error on my true ps300 today. I was pretty pissed off, as the machine has barely been used! I didnt want to have to call the company, since good customer service is a thing of the past.
Anyway, if your in the same boat as me, here is how to fix it: 1) make sure power is off, take off the front shroud, 2 screws on right side, 2 screws in left side 2) locate speed sensor beside driven motor pulley, locate magnet in pulley, wipe off dirt on magnet and sensor 3) move sensor closer to magnet, as close as you can without the sendor touching the magnet, or crashing anything else 4) put back shroud etc, fire up treadmill, and it should work. If it does not, you might be at the mercy of true.
Yes you may be able to recalabrate the machine. A grade stall is when the machine does bot think the machine is at the right height. A bad lower board can also be the problem. True has those treadmills brought overseas. There not the american made quality of the units they useto make in MO.
It can be fixed. I know all the employees at True
