In a way I have the same problem. I went to a friends house and downloaded songs, then dragged those same songs into Windows Media Player, and synchronized them into my c250. When I got home to try and import them into my own computer, they wouldn't appear in the list of songs from the c250. How do I make them show?

I just got mine too. Plugged it in to my laptop and it was instantly recognized by my Windows Media Player. I use Windows XP not Vista though.

I have got c250 sansa MP3 player today in post. But the packet came without user manual and installation CD.Let me know how to charge it,load music and gettng started

I just got a reconditioned one from Buy.com today, and there were no manuals or CDs with it either.
You can download the manual at this URL: http://www.sandisk.com/Assets/File/Downloads/user-guides/c200-ug-eng.pdf

You can also find drivers at the Sandisk website, although I didn't look for one for this player.

Successfully downloading music onto Sansa c250

Here is a link to the manual:
http://www.sandisk.com/Assets/File/Downloads/user-guides/c200-ug-eng.pdf

If you are certain that all of the files are in mp3 format, then your best bet would be to change the USB Mode of the player - if it is in MSC Mode, chnge it to MTP Mode and vice versa - instructions for doing this are in the manual.

Error on downloading audio books

The new Sansa c200 series devices come with some songs on them from the factory and apparently they are in a special format.
All I had to do was fomat the device using its Settings Menu choice.
It wiped everything off the device, but then I was able to sync any song over to it using my Yahoo Music Jukebox software.

Cant load songs

the best way for that is to read your manual.

MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
Windows XP SP1
Windows Media Player 10
Intel Pentium class PC or higher
CD-ROM drive
USB 2.0 port required for hi-speed transfer
CONNECTING AND TRANSFERRING
Connect to your Computer
1. Connect the small USB Cable Connector to the USB port on your computer, and then plug the larger
Cable Dock Connector in to your Sansa c200 port.
2. Once connected to computer, it should be detected by the operating system automatically and is
shown as an additional drive called “Sansa c200”.
SANSA MEDIA CONVERTER
You will need to use Sansa Media Converter to transfer photos to your Sansa c200. Insert your SanDisk
CD and select Sansa Media Converter to install it to your PC. Then you can load your personal photos
onto your Sansa c200 by using Sansa Media Converter.

TRANSFER MUSIC
To transfer music to your Sansa c200:
1. Connect Sansa c200 to the computer.
2. Drag and drop files from your computer to Sansa c200 by using a variety of music software
programs to transfer/synchronize your files.
3. In MTP mode as long as the files are WMA or MP3, they can be dragged into the Media folder.
Otherwise, they can be dragged into the Data folder (these files will not appear on the player).
4. In MSC mode, files/folders can be dragged/copied to the device.

What does "synchronize to continue music subscription" mean

the best way to put music into the mp3 player is by using windows media player 10, click on sync and put all the songs you want in the sync list then click on start sync and it should sync properly without any problems.
