What u need to do is count how many wires are cut and will the wires reach eachother like do you need extra wiring to make up the differance all the wires are in colors like blue and red black and white 2 colors per wire some wires are a single colre ie blu blk rd yl match up youre wires to each other blu to blu red to red etc you will need **** connectors u can get at any automotive parts store or even walmart will have these u will need 1 **** connector per broken/cut wire all u do is strip the end of each wire about 3-8ths long slide one end into the **** connector and crimp that side then strip the other wire of the same color about3-8ths of an inch slide it in to the corresponding color **** connector

The drivers seat won't move and the heated seats won't work on both sides. Where is the fuse?

Check underneath the seat for an inline fuse. It is a glass type fuse in a fuse holder that you have to push and twist to get out.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have a 2004 VW Passat with heated seats. Neither the driver side or passenger side heated seats work. I checked all the fuses in the side dash panel. All appear to be good. I need to know which fuses,...

Before you do all that look under the seats and make sure the wiring plug did not come disconnected. Sometime they get caught on something and get unplugged.

Power seat controls are not working

First of all, check under the seat where there should be a cluster of wires. Sometimes if the power seat is used alot by sliding back and forth, without this cluster of wires being secured, occassionally a wire can get cut.
The runners on which the seats move are metal and cut wires easily. Secondly, the plug also located under the seat could have gotten wet or accidently came unplugged from someones feet in the back or objects and debris.
Another possibilty that will keep power seats from working is the power seat motor. In most cases, this small electrical motor is located directly under the power seat control panel or very nearby
Also you could check the fuses in the fuse box, located directly above the driver's left foot area. Power seats are usually on thier own circuit which means if the power seat fuse is blown, that is the only malfunction that will be noticed, versus other circuit which have many power items on one circuit. For example dash light, clock, and temp lights don't work, one fuse will fix the problem. Power seats operate on one fuse circuit which could have one or more fuses depending on the options of your seats. E.g. heated or not, lumbar, etc.

FRONT HEATED SEATS

you need to check the resistance in each of the heated seat elements in the seat. There's a two wire connector under the back of each front seat. The connector should be green. disconnect it and measure the resistance along the circuit going into the seat. if it isnt .1 - .3 ohms, replace the appropriate heated seat element

02 GMC Denali front heated seats won't work

The controller could be bad but I would probe the related wiring first. From your symptoms it sounds like something can not handle the electrical load. You turn the F/R seat heater on but then you turn on the F/L and the whole system fails. It does sound like the source of the problem will be under the drivers seat. Testing needs to be performed to confirm and identify the source. Both seats share the same fuse and ground. This circuit may have a damaged wire or connector somewhere. Inspect and test as much as you can. Also look underneath the seats for anything. Customers are not aware that personal belongings and trash get pushed underneath the seats and will damage wiring. Also excessively moving the seat forward and back will weaken the harness over time. Please write back and let me know what you need. If it is more diagnostic information or suggestions just let me know. Good Luck

Installation instruction heated seats 19159289

It sounds to me like what your asking is where do you find the wiring harness for the heated seats.
Remove the front seat, and look under the carpet where there is a cut out, there should be a wirting harness for the heated seats, as well as a wiring harness for the seatbelt alarm switch.
See if the wiring harness they sent you, will fit that one supplied in the truck, if it does then you are in business my friend.

How do you replace a Cabin Air Filter and air filter for vented front seats?

The seat filters are located underneath each seat, driver and passenger. Slide seat(s) all way forward. From the rear reach underneath and feel for a small square filter, about 2x3in. Grasp an edge and pull down , it will pop out. Replace same way. Good hunting finding replacements. Had to go to a dealer and order.
