Hi,

follow the step by step solution from kodak.

Choose All-in-one printer and then Print quality and follow the further steps. I think it's a problem with your printhead.

Vertical lines

Lines in prints with this machine would suggest a fault with a drum unit. As each toner cartridge contains its own drum unit it is likely to be a particular colour at fault. If the colour is not immediately obvious, I would recommend printing off a test page like the one here:

Not good colour consistency over an A4 page

I suggest you find a way to align the cartridge. If it contains alignment utility it should give you a better printout. Also check if you have enough ink on your cartridge. Uneven colour usually is due to lack of ink in the cartridge.

I have a Lexmark 1200 printer. Colour promlems

It could be that the cartridge has become dry.
you have to try several head cleans using the printer software and if that doesnt help then the cartridge needs to be replaced.

Enlarge and print pictures with a lexmark 6675

You can expand your image to multiple pages, so you can stretch an 8.5x11 image to close to 18x24, by selecting Poster (in the copy menu), and 2x2.

HP Colour Laserjet 3550 printing problems

I can tell you that it is NOT the Fuser unit. I would change the drum unit first. This would be the most likely cause.

Wrong colour

This could one of a few fairly major problems. The easiest way to track down the fault is start by replacing the consumables - make sure you install them in the correct positions - it is possible on the C1100 to put them in the wrong places!! Change the toners first. Most importantly the magenta and yellow. Print several pages. Use MS Paint or similar to create a page with all four component colours on (cyan, magenta, yellow and black)in large blocks (see image below) and print them full page. Now look at the print and see if any one colour is missing or has reduced density. If you have a spare PCU you should but that in next. Let me know what the print outs look like and we will progress to the next step.

Horizontal lines

Depends on whether the "lines" are colored or just blank areas missing in the print . If it is blank areas , then most likely the laser scanner is dirty and the glass needs to be cleaned . If it is colored lines , then you most likely have a defective drum .
