The setup menu is missing the EZsetup option. How do i get it back. It was a floor model and set to "shop" , which sets the TV to Dynamic(fixed) AVmode and I can't adjust the picture values. If I manually change the AVmode to User it reverts to Dynamic after 30 minutes of no remote control use. Thanks for any help with this.

I have anew Samsung 55 inch model code ue55h6500akxxu but it will not store my settings as soon as i turn tv off an on again it goes back to custom settings

This is from an article I found online:

"It's likely that the television is in Shop Mode. The symptom would be that your settings are defaulted back to the out-of-box settings?

Try holding down the Menu button on the TV (Not remote) for 12 seconds.

OR

Try pushing the volume button up once, let go, and then hold down the MENU button for about 12 seconds.

You might see the screen flicker, and that's okay. Once you've done that, you should be able to program your settings and they should stay.

Dx-ldvd22-10a does not power up what part do you think broke

It sounds like your TV is in Shop Mode.
Shop mode is a set of picture parameters that have been optimized for a store showroom or display floor. Shop mode does not allow you saveicon1.png any picture settings such as brightness or contrast.
To get the TVicon1.png out of Shop Mode press and hold the Menu button on the front panel for three seconds, the picture will blank momentarily then reappear with "Dynamic Mode" shown on the screen. At this point the picture parameters can be changed and saved.
If this method doesn't work for your TV there is an alternate method that might.

From the buttons on the front of the TV (not the remote):
1) Press the Volume + (increase volume) button
2) Whilst the volume button is pressed, press and keep pressed the menu button
3) Let go of the volume button and keep the menu button pressed for 5 seconds
4) After this time the screen should go blank and "Dynamic" will appear at the bottom of the screen.

The TV will, on t's own, will go to the DYNAMIC (Fixed) setting every 30 mins. or so and I have to go to the settings I like. Then it will go back over and over again.

hello,
Dynamic (Fixed) setting every 30 mins. Then it will go back over and over again because of store mode has selected. To remove or set to home mode you can enter initial setup. Follow the instructions from TV set . Or enter TV location from menu than choose home.
Good luck.

Samsung LCD LA32R81B getting reset automatically every 1/2 hour

Your TV is in Shop Mode, its optimised for usage in a shop. People mess with the settings all day long, so when in shop mode, if you go to standby it wipes all the settings everytime.

You need to re-enable Home mode, to do this go back to the DTV menu and find the option PLUG and PLAY on the 1st with the cog icon.

Enjoy!

SHARP LC-32SB24U. AV MODE KEEPS GOING BACK TO DYNAMIC FIXED .

I have the same tv and i just fixed it! mine was a display model at wal mart so it was set to reset to Dynamix (fixed) after 30 minutes of no remote activity

THE FIX: switch to TV MODE and select the EZ SETUP from the option menu
when you get to the TV LOCATION option select HOME

The STORE option resets the TV after 30 mins of remote control inactivity in case someone messes up the picture settings in case someone playing with it while it was on display at the store

Picture Mode reverts always to Dynamic after several minutes

The set was a store demo, and the options were set so they could not be adjusted. On instruction from Samsung I pressed MENU and VOLUME buttons on the side of the set and hold for 7 seconds The display reverts to Standard from Dynamic. The Remote Options button showed Store Demo, but now shows Standard. All memory functions seem to function now. Thanks for your help.
