I need assistance with maintenance with a MasterBath walk-in tub with a lifetime guarantee. They have gone out of business and I need to contact a maintenance technician
Your best bet may be to call your local plumbing companies and them if they routinely work on those tubs, and what thier warranties are. Chances are, the manufacturer had local companies who were either dealers for them, or certified to work on them for warranty purposes. The company may not be in business, but the technicians are stil out there. companies that say 'Lifetime Warranty', are usually a company like Reliance, who will warranty for lifetime, but what they do it replace when it leaks and then put the price up to cover over the period of the guarantee. $600 price, 6 year warranty, your bill goes up $100 a year on top of what your were paying before. Clever marketing.

You could contact local real estate agents. Lastly, walk the streets you might be interested in and look for indications of contact info for leasing agents or owners. Stop in and talk to non-competitive businesses and ask how they found their space. They are likely to know whether nearby businesses are moving or closing.

sometimes a plumber leaves an access panel to get at the drain and jets under the tub---it's usually small and may not be enough to get a body in---usually the grab bars are permanently glued or siliconed on a fiberglass/plastic tub....a cast iron, or other non-plastic type tub may have removable grab bars...look for access area, or you may just have to cut out a piece of the wall to look----or if you do find a small access panel, and can get a telescoping mirror to look back at the back of the grab bar underneath the tub, you will find your answer----or you could contact the original manufacturer of the tub, and they can tell you if the grab bars are removable....another solution is to coat/paint/sandblast the metal bars however you'd like them to be
check your warranty, i was just looking at it and it shows an extended warranty on the units pulleys, belt and more importantly the tub and wash drum.. i would call them and explain the situation with them and maybe they can see to it to replace the parts at least for you as the wash drum is guaranteed for life and 2-10 year on outer tub from leakage, hmm if you pull the unit out from the wall and remove the rear access panel you may see signs of water leakage from around where those bearings are located at.. if they have seized badly they have damaged that lifetime guaranteed wash drum.. need i say more.. if you have to buy the parts i'd toss it.. they'll set you back around $400 or so with shipping, etc.. and unless you're pretty handy to do it yourself the labor will be around another $145 or more.. hope this helps, best of luck, ttfn
Bausch & Lomb binoculars did carry a Limited Life Time Warranty. I quote the first paragraph of the enclosed warranty card. The rest of the card just mentions the address to send them. The card is old and always good to check for the current address. "Your Bushnell or Bausch & Lomb binocular, riflescope, or telescope is unquestionably warranted to be free of defect in material and workmanship for the lifetime of the original owner." Coating wearing off is not considered a warranty repair as coatings can come off over time. Rubbing too hard often or not blowing off debris before cleaning can do this. Using cleaners not made for coated lenses also can. The Bausch & Lomb Discoverer was made by Bushnell. They have owned B & L's binoculars business since the mid seventies. Bushnell still make the discoverer line under the Bushnell brand name. Contact Bushnell in your country for service.
