WD-52631 Audio works, but no picture

Un-mute sound. Be sure speakers are not turned OFF. Go to settings menu, audio, then check the speaker settings. When used with a separate stereo, or surround sound system, the speakers need to be OFF. When used in a stand alone mode, they need to be turned ON. Someone may have turned them OFF in the audio settings. That's the easy fix. If there is something wrong with the on-board amplifier, the problem gets harder. Regards.

The plastic housing of your set could have popped from tempature. If the set is still working, you should be fine. . . although keep your nose in working order, just in case.

Remove the lamp and do a visual inspection.
If this is a DLP you may have a bad color wheel! whistling sound is a sign of color wheel.

Hi, have you replaced the lamp after 2-3 yrs of usage? No,probally a capacitor the help the power supply board to work or other boards to work is blown.Call some tv shops get a best quotes prices,get a tv tech out to it fix,if ur tv is out of warrenty.

unplug it from the wall, wait 30 seconds, then plug it back in. i had the same problem and this simple solution worked for me. Good Luck!!!!

You may have a lamp going bad,when was the last time you replaced it? Or the DMD or light engine, try lamp first. Good Luck, big IRISH.

Hi...maybe I can help. Go back in and make sure your lamp is connected to the ballast. If it is not all the way in, it will smell like it is burning. Sometime it will even burn out you lamp and or ballast too. Good luck

Nope the bulb is fine. This set sucks up dust and contaminates the light engine. Rarley does blowing the set out with compressed air fix this, The light engine can be disassembled and cleaned but this is best left to someone who has done this once before. Because if it gets messed up you get to buy a $1500.00 light engine
