What is the impedance of the JAMO A3SUB.3 speaker?

22K is the impedance listed in the specs but you may have to look on the actual speaker itself to get the impedance of the physical speaker.

My jamo sub 200 & pioneer vsx517 receiver is not working properly

What do you mean that it sometimes doesn't work? It doesn't power on automatically?
Check settings of your receiver - if it has subwoofer output enables and if low frequencies from all channels are directed also to the SUB. By default only the LFE channel (.1) of 5.1 signal input is fed to the subwoofer. So Sub will work in this case only when you listen to 5.1 signal (DVD movie for example), but for radio or stereo music, only front speakers are used. By configuring this bass redirect, you can use subwoofer for all signal types.

Can't get my Accurian subwoofer to work

Sounds like you have everything hooked up properly. Make sure the outlet is providing AC power to the sub. Check the power switch on the sub.

If it is not working still; bring it back and swap it for another one before you warranty runs out.

Powered Or Unpowered Subwoofers For Onkyo TX-8511

Greg- Powered subs are better than non-powered subs (also known as passive subs), anyway I see the TX-8511 has no sub pre-out on the back panel, so you need to decide what sub you will use and run from the receivers left and right speakers output into a subwoofers speaker in from speakers then back out to speakers, look at the back of a subwoofer and you will see like 4 sets of speaker hookups 2 in and 2 out, what this does is takes the low end or bass and drops the signal to the subwoofer then takes the mids and highs out to your left and right speakers, unless your regular left and right stereo speakers have large woofers a sub is the way to go.

Bass sounds only

That is tricky one. Did you try adjusting the EQ on both the stereo and the amp? Is the Mute turned on because it will act like that? Is both rca jacks plugged in on stereo and amp?

I have no amp for jamo 1060 sub

Dual Voice-Coil
The unique Dual Voice-Coil design allows both left and right channel sound from just one speaker. Simply hook up both the left and the right channels to the special terminals on the speaker. Hook up one channel only, if the speaker is to be used in a conventional stereo set-up.
I found this on jamo site hope that will help you
